Description

The Pet Care Clinic opened in October, 1987.


Services

Small animal medicine and surgery including spaying, neutering, declawing, dental cleaning and extraction, boarding for small dogs and cats, some grooming and bathing. We also carry Eukanuba Veterinary diets.

Brooke Vaughn

Receptionist and Technician

Brooke moved to Stillwater in the summer of 99. She is a 3rd year veterinary student at Oklahoma State, the class of 2004. She has shown horses most of her life and has a Pomoodle who is all "fluff".

Stephanie Smola

Part-time technician, receptionist, caretaker

Stephanie is known city wide for her experience with cats and feeding of strays throughout the Stillwater area. She and her husband provide a home for a multitude of cats and dogs and one llama. She is also available for pet sitting.

Dr. Karen B. Dawson

Veterinarian

Dr. Dawson grew up in Oklahoma City. She received her BS and MS in Physiology from OSU. She graduated from OSU's Veterinary School in 1985. Her husband, Dr.Lionel Dawson, is on the faculty in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at OSU specializing in Theriogenology. She currently has only a chihuahua named Hershey and a cat named Mickey both of whom have spent extended periods at the clinic as greeters. She had worked in several small animal practice and a mixed animal practice after graduation but prefers dogs, cats and pocket pets.
